Cancel during the grace period

After cancellation, the account remains active. Devices signed out when deletion was requested must sign in again.

What is removed

  • username account record, email, password hash and salt, and linked Google identifier;
  • all sessions and account verification or recovery tokens;
  • profile fields and uploaded avatar;
  • custom maps owned by the account;
  • feedback authored by the account;
  • stable account identifiers and avatars in finished replays and other participants' match snapshots;
  • saved replay analysis associated with affected shared replays.

If you are in a lobby, you leave it. If a match has started, your seat resigns before its account identity is replaced.

What a shared match retains

Deleting one account must not erase another participant's finished match. A finished shared replay can therefore retain:

  • the historical player name displayed during that match;
  • game actions, board state, result and timing needed to reproduce the match;
  • a marker that the participant account was deleted.

It does not retain the deleted stable user ID or avatar. This limited record is described in Data & Retention.
